Reference Directories
You can offer members to see "reference" or "heritage" directories, usually as a way to list former member contact information.
By default, every member can see the member directory, containing all your current members.
However, some situations arise, such as members moving away, where members would like to still access contact information, even though they are no longer technically members at your congregation.
In Lightpost, you can do this through a Group option called a "Reference Directory".
You can enable this under "Settings" on any group.

When the "Reference Directory" option is selected for a group — this group will now show up for all current members as an "alternative directory" for them to reference.
This group and its users are not shown by default, but can be switched to it easily in the mobile and web app.
SPECIAL NOTES
Keep in mind that a Group that has "Reference Directory" enable will expose ALL group members and their family information to your entire congregation.
Please ensure that these groups are pruned on a regular basis! The people in these groups should be reviewed regularly to make sure their information should be open to your congregation.
Be sure you have permission from those individuals and families to continue to allow your congregation to have access to their contact information.
