# More Info Requested

### Can we talk to another congregation already using Lightpost?

No. While in the past there have been members who were willing to make themselves available to speak to how much they love Lightpost, this has put an undue burden on brothers and sisters who have their own responsibilities and priorities in life. Selling Lightpost is not one of those, and nor should it be.

Rest assured, there are many congregations of the Lord's church happily using Lightpost. Feel free to ask around in your Facebook or brotherhood networks to find others using it. You can find many positive references there.

Lightpost does not require any commitments or long term investment. If it turns out to not be useful, you can immediately stop using it.

### What about security? Can you tell me how you program everything?

We have a [whole page dedicated](http://lightpost.app/security) to describing how we take security seriously and have industry leading experience with creating, running, maintaining and securing technology services.

Included on that page are some references to the underlying technology used in the creation and operation of Lightpost.

These explanations should be sufficient for accepting the use of a service such as Lightpost, and in many cases goes above and beyond details that other, similar services offer.

We would **please** ask that you scrutinize Lightpost with the same level of scrutiny you would any other technology service you might sign up for and use.

### How do I know I can trust you?

Lightpost is a business built by a member of the church for the Lord's church. While this may offer comfort to some, it does not necessarily guarantee anything more than any other business.

The fact that a member of the church created Lightpost can be a pro and a con, depending on the end user, in that while it's great to support a member of the church offering services for the church, it often invites more scrutiny and requirements on behalf of a congregation looking to use a service.

We offer a terms of service and privacy policy, just like other businesses.

You are able to cancel your account at any time, without fees or penalties, just like many other businesses.

Unlike other businesses though, Lightpost is only offered to the churches of Christ, as outlined in the terms of service, and is designed with workflows that are common to the way the Lord's church works.
