How to Launch Lightpost
Lightpost offers a few options for helping expedite getting your members aware and logged in.
Data Setup
We highly recommend this order of things for getting setup:
Import data -- Get all members' basic info (name, birthdate), and at least emails, added to Lightpost.
Add Involvement Areas for members to login and select how they'd like to be involved.
Begin adding prayers to the Prayer List feature.
Put some events on the Calendar.
Enable Group Posts for some smaller groups. This is a great way to get communication flowing among the congregation.
Member Announcement
Once you have those things going, and you're ready to get members logged in, you should:
First announce to the congregation that Lightpost is available!
Send "Welcome Emails" to everyone with an email address in Lightpost here: https://admin.lightpost.app/account/settings/welcome-emails
